Honda Gresini Ascertained Shown In Valencia

Fausto Gresini finally confirmed that his team will race in the last series in the MotoGP Valencia GP. Team San Carlo Honda Gresini stated that this was done purely out of respect for Marco Simoncelli.

"The decision to participate is not easy but we do have to take this choice as a Marco wanted," said Gresini quoted from Crash, Monday (31/10/2011).

Previously, they had reportedly not going to perform in Valencia. They originally wanted to spend the final series of the 2011 MotoGP World Championship as it is still in shades of mourning for the death of their flagship racer, Marco Simoncelli.

However, then came the news that they at least will be present in Valencia although not down to race. Now, through the direct owner Honda Gresini will race at the Circuit Ricardo Tomo.
