Colin Edwards will miss the Valencia MotoGP
Shoulder injury suffered by Colin Edwards made herself absent from MotoGP Valencia, 6 November 2011. Tech 3 Yamaha rider is currently looking for a replacement. Thus, MotoGP Malaysia became his last appearance for the Tech 3 Yamaha considering the upcoming 2012 season he will ride for the team Suter-BMW Racing Forward.
"I also want to go to Valencia next week to provide support to MotoGP, but it is not possible due to have surgery for my left arm," said Edwards quoted from Crash, Saturday (29/10/2011).
Edwards said today he was in his country, the United States for the recovery of these injuries. According to preliminary investigation, Edwards was told that he will recover next month. "The top of the left humerus bone I experienced some minor fractures and cartilage at the top of the bone has been detached. Fortunately there was no nerve damage, "he said.
"The operation will reconnect the cartilage to the bone and I will recover 100 percent in four weeks," said 37-year-old racer.
